PARK DESCRIPTION:

For a great and lively family holiday come to Carmarthen Bay. You can enjoy the scenic surroundings along the South Wales Coastline or enjoy spectacular views over the Gwendraeth estuary. Further afield, visit Carmarthen, the oldest town in Wales, where Merlin was said to have lived.

Splash around in the indoor pool where you can relax in the spa bath or have fun on the water flume. Challenge the family to a game of crazy golf, or join in the fun and games.

Enjoy a delicious meal in the Boathouse Restaurant before a fantastic line up of entertainment. Fancy a quiet drink? Then sit outside on the Boathouse Bar terrace and watch the sunset over the estuary.

 

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS:

The National Botanic Garden of Wales at Llanarthne. Hundreds of acres of gardens plus a 360-degree cinema showing ‘Planet of Plants’.

Heron’s Brook Animal Park & Golf Course. Full of animal magic and family fun including animal shows, reptile handling and otter feeding.

The National Showcaves at Dan-yr-Ogof in the Brecon Beacons has 3 spectacular showcaves, plus a Dinosaur Park and Iron Age Farm.

Culla Park Extreme Sports & Activity Centre for paintball, 4 X 4 off road driving, dual karting and quad biking.

Pembrey Country Park contains a dry ski slope, toboggan run, nature trails and a cycle track.

Marros Riding Centre, Pendine for beach rides, Hacks and Mountain rides.

Kidwelly Castle. One of the best preserved Norman castles in Wales set in picturesque surroundings overlooking the River Gwendraeth.

DIRECTIONS / LOCATION:

Please leave the M4 at junction 48 and follow the signs for Pembrey Country Park on the A484. Pass the Country Park to the next town of Kidwelly. We are signposted from there as Carmarthen Bay Holiday Village.

If you are travelling from the West please follow the signs for Kidwelly, from Carmarthen, again on the A484.
