in our first year illustrates the care and attention
we have put into the facility and its products
ensuring you the customer receive total quality.
This is also demonstrated in our Chefs attention to the
sourcing, preparation, and gentle cooking of the local
ingredients that make up our various menus and individual
furnishings that give every room its unique tailor made
identity.
The menu is based on a philosophy of fresh and seasonal,
incorporating traditional favourites and something different
for the more adventurous diner.
Complimented
by made to order sauces and vegetables, incorporating
fresh produce and herbs grown in the Jabajak kitchen
gardens, when available.
THE
BISTRO (30 covers ):
The bistro converted from the old carriage house & stable
area has been designed to suit small dinner parties or
couples dining on intimate candlelit suppers or lunches
and overlooks the courtyard.
It provides a comprehensive fresh menu, with ingredients
all cooked and prepared on the premises that offer real
value for money. Sauces are all made individually for each
dish at the time of your order and the flavours are kept
simple and subtle allowing the full flavour, colour and
vibrancy of your meal to be realised through your taste
buds utilising fresh herbs and fruits grown in the JABAJAK
garden.
Our policy is to source locally whenever possible. Meats
and poultry (including seasonal game) are all of fully
traceable and usually of Welsh origin and most of the fish
comes from registered local trawlers that fish off the
coast of Pembrokeshire and the Gower. We also source unusual
produce from delicatessens, for the more adventurous diner
and can be found on our specials menu.
They can be reserved or pre-ordered to avoid disappointment.
Dairy products are also local ranging from Farmhouse Ice
creams to Llanboidy cheese.
In addition, as we cook everything our selves we can guarantee
the ingredients paying due care and attention to what can
and cannot be consumed by people with specific allergies
or dietary needs.
THE CONFERENCE OR PRIVATE BANQUET SUITE (50 covers):
The conference suite or private banquet suite is converted
from the old cowshed. It features a high cathedral type
roof with exposed A frames and timbers and benefits from
two aspects. To the courtyard or its own private sunny
decking area and garden lawn. Enabling it the privacy to
suit your requirements.
Menus
are available on either a serviced or self serve
basis and can be tailored exactly to meet your
needs and budget. Conferences and special occasion
party groups, in particular, are our specialities.
With every effort made to ensure that not only
the menu and facilities are suitable but also all
of the ancillary products and services necessary
are made available to complete the occasion, including
accommodation.
