Carmarthenshire Holiday Cottages - Cwmdwyfran Cottages Carmarthen Wales Cwmdwyfran Farm has two beautiful Welsh Tourist Board 4 star holiday cottages recently refurbished to a high standard, offering guests a holiday home from home perfectly positioned within Carmarthenshire’s outstanding countryside. Cwmdwyfran Farm is centrally located within "The Garden of Wales" providing a peaceful get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Cwmdwyfran Farm has an enviable position to take advantage of not just Carmarthenshire's countryside and coastline but also the Pembrokeshire’s, Ceredigion’s and Gower coast line and countryside, all within an hour’s drive. The close proximity to these three counties of Wales provides a huge range of interests and activities for all members of the family and makes for a fun filled holiday whatever the weather! The Farm enjoys a secluded and peaceful location with immediate access to the bustling market town of Carmarthen which is just three miles away. Carmarthen offers an interesting mix of shops and facilities from antiques and boutiques to interior and gift shops as well as art galleries not to mention the livestock markets for those that are interested! Eating out in Carmarthen and the surrounding area is easy as there is a wide range of eating establishments available from cafes and takeaways to restaurants and bistros, something for everyone’s taste and pocket. Swallow View and Nuthatch Cottage are two semi-detached cottages converted from an old stone barn built in 1852. They are single storey and have recently been refurbished to a high standard providing comfortable, contemporary surroundings and being awarded 4 star Grading from the Welsh Tourist Board. The cottages are open plan with a kitchen, dining and living areas with french doors leading out onto a private decked area overlooking the beautiful Gwilli valley. The kitchens are fully equipped and fitted with an electric oven, grill, hob, fridge freezer and microwave. The lounge has a Digital TV with Freeview a Radio/ CD player and a DVD player. There is also a library of DVD's guests may borrow. The cottages have central heating as well as wood burning stoves for those cosy winter evenings, for which fuel is supplied. Pets are welcome at Cwmdwyfran Farm at an extra cost of £10 per week. We do provide an outside kennel for those wishing to leave their pets for the day as the need arises. |
