Hefin and Megan welcomes you to the Glan-yr-Afon Arms, Talgarreg, near New Quay, Ceredigion. It is a cheerful village pub in Red Kite country. It is an ideal base to explore the scenic Ceredigion coast and countryside. It is also an ideal place to enjoy Harness Racing at its best with several local tracks to choose from during the months of May - September. The pub is:

The Glan-yr-Afon Arms has 4 bars, which serve Keg and Cask ales, with a bar menu which serves local supplied ingredients. Within the building, there is a function room that caters for parties, conferences and meetings at a reasonable rate, all of which are by appointments. One of the main attractions within the pub is the wonderful collection of over 700 pub jugs. Also, the building has separate rooms for pool and darts. At weekends, Country and Western nights are held with the very popular Welsh Groups of 'John ac Alun', 'Broc Môr', 'Dylan a Neil' and 'Lyn' a local Welsh Country and Western recording artist. Children are also welcome.
