Nant-y-Medd is a 250 acre Welsh family run farm, overlooking the river Teifi just outside the peaceful village of Llanfair Clydogan, from the moment you arrive you are assured of a warm welcome, with our home made Welsh cakes and tea, we are very proud of our standards and will try to please in every way. Guests can just relax in the garden or enjoy our free fishing for trout and salmon in the river Teifi. Bring your own horse with you, to ride in this beautiful country side.

Experience more about the Red Kite its environment and people of Wales, visit the local agricultural shows, Tregaron Kite Centre, Dolaucothi Roman Gold Mines and the coastal towns of Aberaeron and Aberystwyth which are within easy drive, a Golf Course and Leisure Centre are only three miles from the farm. Make your way to the famous Devil's Bridge falls calling in at the Strata Florida Abbey, and then take the Rheidol Steam Railway to Aberystwyth.

Family Room - This very large room with its own staircase and wash hand basin is brightly furnished with duvet covers and curtains to match the dark red carpet.

Double Bed Room - This room is furnished in the old country style to give the farmhouse bedroom affect.

Dinning room - In this oak beamed room take the window table with the view across the valley and admire the surroundings while you eat, the old Welsh Dresser with its fine china displayed and the cooking certificate from The Royal Welsh Show, the 250 year old linen press, fireplace with its old water kettle, butter pats etc. on the walls are rosettes from local horse shows.

Lounge - This room is very relaxing with its pale green furnishings, its large window with magnificent views of the valley, Guests will feel very at home in this room as you can view the family photographs, or just look at television, again admire the Trophies gained by Miss Evans horses in local horse racing.

Directions

From Lampeter - Turn left on the Llanfair Road before the Super Store continue for approx three miles it is the first farm tarmac drive on the left.

From Tregaron - take the B4343 out of Tregaron to wards the village of Llandewl Brefi turn right in the village still on the B4343 to wards Llanfair Clydogan turn right.
at the church over the river bridge turn left in front of the post office continue for half a mile Nant-y-Medd is on the right.
