Wern Newydd is our family home and is a working farm, which offers a friendly and warm welcome. Built in about 1766, we are the fifth generation farming our 65 acres with Dairy cattle and sheep. Well behaved Pets are welcome and a kennel is available. The comfortable guest lounge overlooks the River Teifi valley and has a colour TV/Sky TV. There is an excellent bathroom with shower and bath. The spacious warm single or double bedrooms have of course lovely views of the River valley to the Berwyn Hills! We are very proud of our Welsh Farmhouse Breakfast! We promise you that this will prepare you for the day!

The River Teifi borders our farm meadow and fishing for Brown Trout is available and free to guests. There are many lovely Brown Trout in the river! The sky is busy with many birds such as Buzzards and Red Kites. Tregaron is some 3 miles to the north and is an old market town steeped in history. The village of Llanddewl is about one and a half miles from Wern Newydd, where there are two good pubs, the Post Office and churches. Lampeter is about 8 miles to the south and Aberystwyth is the nearest large town, about twenty miles from us. Newquay and Aberaeron are small seaside towns about half an hour away, both with pretty harbours and nice beaches. To the north of Tregaron is the Cors Caron Nature Reserve famous as it is the home of many rare species of flora and fauna, with visitors from all over the world viewing bird and wildlife.
