Berwyn Barn Holiday Cottage is a Welsh stone cottage on the edge of a working farm at Maerdy Mawr  near Corwen in North Wales.

The cottage sleeps up to 4 in a double room with king size bed, and a twin bedded room.  There is an open plan living room and well equipped kitchen.  In the lounge area is a TV, DVD and CD player with a selection of DVD's and CD's.  There are also games and books.

Included in the price is all bed linen and towels.  On your arrival is a welcome tray with fresh milk in the fridge so you can make yourselves at home after your journey.  Outside is a large patio with table and chairs as well as a gas bbq for your use.

Local area

The village of Gwyddelwern is 1 mile from the cottage where you will find the oldest Inn in Wales 'TY Mawr' which is well worth a visit.  There is a small shop and post Office.

The surrounding area can boast many outdoor activities to suit all ages and abilities.  For example there is golf, walking, fishing, watersports and climbing all within easy reach. 

The historic towns of Corwen, Llangollen and Ruthin are all within 10 miles.  12 miles away is Bala with its famous lake and narrow gauge railway.
